The Corona rapid test from the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit II Medomics shows within a quarter of an hour whether someone is infected with the COVID-19 virus. This test is used for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 in human samples (in vitro) and fulfils the specifications of the RKI by a high reliability with a sensitivity of 96.94 % and a specificity of 99.10 % (2nd generation of tests and published in the Paul-Ehrlich list). The sample is taken by stick through the nose or throat and the rapid test should only be used by medically trained personnel. The tests should be stored at 2-30°C and have a shelf life of 24 months. The buffer solution has a shelf life of 2 months after opening.
